Part 2: The Plan


"Bella, I'm begging you, please come.. I have to explain!" Edward said pleadingly. "No! I HAVE to find Jacob." I said. We were in my bedroom now, Charlie had gone back to work, because there had been a man hit by a car and he needed to help with the investigating. Edward leaned in close to my face, pulled me closer and kissed me, I was disappointed because he held back, but the whole time I was thinking about kissing Jacob. Edward pulled me back, his eyes stared deep into mine and he pouted his lip. I suppressed a laugh, It was amazing how quickly he could change my mind. "Please?" he said. I couldn't resist. "Fine, but only for a while, I promised Sam." It must of been something important, because Edward never acted like this. We got to the truck, and I decided to drive. I put the key into the ignition and turned. It wouldn't start. "Uh-oh." I said, "Out of gas." Edward looked at me and laughed. Probably from my annoyed expression. "I'll go get my car." He said. Before I could protest he was gone. I sighed to myself and got out of the truck. I couldn't stop thinking about Jacob.. I didn't know why this worried me so much.. he would probably come back soon, he just wanted to be alone.. I tried to convince myself that he was okay, but I had a feeling that something happened to him. Before I could worry myself into tears Edward pulled the shiny Volvo into the driveway. I got into his car and as soon as I shut the door we were already speeding down the road. "What's the rush?" I asked Edward. I looked beside me to see Edward's expression. He looked angry. "What's wrong?" I asked, confused. "Bella" Edwards serious voice startled me. "I'm afraid I can't let you go to LaPush." he said, sounding quite mad. "Why not?!" I demanded staring at Edward with anger clear in my expression. We pulled into the driveway and before I could even open the car door, I was in Edward's arms. We walked into the house, and Edward took me up to his room. Esme gave me an apologetic look on the way up. When we were in the room, Edward put me down on the giant bed in front of the window. He quickly locked the door, and sat beside me on the bed. I was so worried about Jacob, I just couldn't hold back the tears. As I started to cry, Edward put me on his lap and hugged me until I could manage to talk. "Bella" he said, looking out the window. "I'm sorry for what I did but-" he started to say but I cut him off. "What did you do?" I asked trying to sound mad, although it didn't work. "I sent him an invitation" Edward said. "An Invitation to what?" I asked, a little bit confused. "To the wedding" he said, I looked up at him, shocked and he didn't even look the least bit sad. "Why would you DO that?!" I said, through my new coming tears. Edward adjusted himself on the bed to get more comfortable and said "I thought he would want to come." I looked up at him and he was smiling. "Why are you happy about this!?" I said to him.. a little agitated now. "Bella, you can't go to LaPush, there going to try and keep you there and convince you not to stay with us." He said. "They wouldn't do that to me Edward.." I said, my eyes widening with shock. "I have to go to LaPush.. please Edward.." I looked at him with the saddest look I could manage, curling my bottom lip a bit. "Bella, I don't want you to get hurt.. I know I said I was going to let you do whatever made you happy, but I'm sure you'll get hurt if you do this!" he said, not looking straight at my face. "Edward, you know as much as I do that they wouldn't hurt me." I said. Edward paused for a second then said "Bella, If you don't call in 2 hours, I'm coming to get you with Emmett." He said, trying not to smile at my light up face. I flung my arms around Edwards neck and hugged him. He puled me back and slipped the silver phone into my pocket, then kissed me on the forehead. We walked out to the silver Volvo hand in hand, but instead of getting into the car, he brought me to the garage and got my bike. "You'll have to take this" he said "I can't break the treaty this soon." He said. I took note of the "this soon". I got on the bike and put my helmet on. "Bye Edward, see you in 2 hours." I said. Sadness flickered across his face, but he quickly changed his expression. "I love you." he said to me, forcing a smile. "Love you more" I said and then I started the engine and I was off. As I drove down the road it started to rain. Great, I thought to myself but I kept on going. I couldn't help but looking towards the forest hoping to see Jacob walk out. As I pulled up to Jacob's house, Sam walked out to greet me. I half expected him to grab me and lock me in a cage. "Bella, We know where he is, but we can only find him with your help." he said "Why were is he?" I asked, confused. "He said that he was in Bella's Field, and that only you knew how to find it." Something clicked. Somewhere only I knew how to find, Jacob must need to talk to me. Come on Sam, I'll show you how to find it. I went to my truck, and got the map that showed how to get to the field out of the dashboard. I walked back to Sam and gave him the map. He looked at it for a second. "Okay I know how to get here." He said. "I'll meet you at the road by the forest." He ran into the forest, taking off his shirt as he went. I got back on motorcycle, a little more relived, and drove off to find Jacob.
